REVOLUTIONIZING PHOTOGRAMMETRY: USING MIRRORS IN SINGLE-IMAGE PHOTOGRAMMETRY

Abstract. The present work introduces a new low-cost prototype® designed for photogrammetric surveys of small objects, using single photographic shot. utilizes the different perspectives object presented by series mirrors strategically placed in camera sensor. set specular reflections projected on our sensor simulates same effect as taking pictures from equivalent points each mirror.The v1 was at 7th International Workshop "Low-Cost 3D Sensors, Algorithms, Applications" Würzburg December 15–16, 2022. It consists eighteen common conveniently around to be digitized, making its converge towards lens. v2 here is an evolution previous one, which replaces with precision ones that have metallic reflective surface front. This modification eliminates double image formed layer and protective glass.These prototypes® allow faster inert objects (such cultural heritage artefacts like sculptures, engravings, rings, coins, etc.) well living beings, such insects, cannot remain still during traditional photography.
